Colin lives locally with his family in Chard. Having lived in the South-West for over 20 years, Colin is strongly committed to the local community, and determined to do all he can to secure a better future for all. ‘If you have strong beliefs’, he says, ‘you have to try and make a difference.’
“As a working family with young children”, says Colin, “Zoe and I share the concerns of ordinary hard-working families in Yeovil and up and down the country – good schools, a decent health service, secure jobs, safer streets, and a clean environment.” Colin shows his commitment to these values through his efforts as a workers’ representative to secure a fair deal in the workplace, and his dedication to the Labour Party to secure a fairer future for all. For Colin, only the Labour Party has the policies and values to deliver continued prosperity, security, and social justice – “It is vital to have practical policies as well as high ideals”, he says, “and only the Labour Party offers this crucial combination. That’s why I support the Labour Party – to make a difference, not a protest.”
